Review statement

The secret lives of cells: Foundations of veterinary cell biology and microbiology was published by Charles Sturt University Library. All textbooks from Charles Sturt University Library undergo a rigorous peer review process to ensure they are of the highest quality and meet the needs of both students and educators.

This text underwent an open, expert-led peer review by subject matter experts from Charles Sturt University, ensuring a rigorous and transparent evaluation process. The peer review process was guided by a rubric that evaluated the content’s comprehensiveness, accuracy, relevance, clarity, cultural relevance, and consistency of structure. See OER peer review for more detail. Changes suggested by reviewers were incorporated by the author in consultation with the publisher.
