Jane Bowland
Jane Bowland is the Copyright and Open Content Librarian with Charles Sturt University’s Division of Library Services. She provides copyright guidance across teaching, research, and administration, and is committed to advancing open access to scholarly and educational resources. Jane believes that access to high-quality information is a matter of equity and that everyone should be able to benefit from the knowledge created in universities. Inspiration for this OER grew from her participation in the Creative Commons Certificate for Academic Librarians, which she completed in 2023.

Lauren Brumby
Lauren Brumby is Manager, Library Engagement with Charles Sturt University’s Division of Library Services. She leads inclusive student engagement programs that strengthen belonging and ensure all students can connect with library spaces, services, and one another. Lauren is committed to co-creating meaningful experiences that build belonging and reduce barriers to access. Her work focuses on accessibility, cultural safety and equity ensuring students see themselves represented in library programs and resources, and that barriers to knowledge are reduced. Open educational resources are a natural extension of this engagement practice, offering opportunities to amplify student voice, reflect diverse perspectives, and extend the Library’s role as a partner in both learning and wellbeing.

Lyndall Holstein is a Faculty Librarian at Charles Sturt University with expertise in research support, open access and scholarly communication. She completed the Creative Commons Certificate for Academic Librarians in 2025 and actively supports Open Access Australasia programs. Lyndall has a strong interest in helping people navigate copyright, licensing and digital tools to support learning and discovery.
