There are a number of places you can access free templates for group events. The following is just a small selection.

  • Microsoft Word has a number of templates. Access them by opening a new document, and choosing “flyers” from the suggested searches
  • Canva.com – requires an account, but has a number of free templates to access
  • Visme.co – is another website that requires an account, but has a number of free templates to access
  • Get creative! Use some felt tip markers and make your own flyer!

Don’t forget to include the following information at a minimum on your flyer:

  • Group activity name
  • Date
  • Time
  • Cost, if any. You can also let people know if it’s free
  • Venue address
  • Access details, including parking or accessibility measures if appropriate
  • What to bring.

You might also like to let participants know a bit more about the program.
